“Light Search and Rescue Awareness Training” was carried out by the personnel of Elazığ Provincial Disaster and Emergency Directorate on 05.05.2024 within the scope of the training of Non-Thesis Master's Degree students of the Disaster and Crisis Management Department of the Institute of Social Sciences of our University.
Within the scope of the training, students were informed about Light Search and Rescue by Güçlü DEMİR, Mehmet AYAR and Hamdi ÖZKAYA from Elazığ AFAD Directorate. After the training, the equipment used in search and rescue operations were also introduced. Director of the Institute of Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Murat SUNKAR, Head of the Department Prof. Dr. İlhan Oğuz AKDEMİR and lecturers participated in the training.
